Alex Evnin grew up among the vineyards of Napa Valley, where a love for winemaking took root early. From there, her curiosity and adventurous spirit carried her from the slopes of New Zealand at Coal Pit Winery to the rolling hills of Sonoma at Hirsch Vineyards, through the cellar of Seavey Vineyards and the iconic grounds of Mayacamas Vineyards. Each stop added a new layer to her understanding of wine, the land, and the people who make it possible.

Alex graduated from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University’s SC Johnson College of Business and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Viticulture & Enology at UC Davis, continuing to deepen her technical and creative approach to winemaking.

For Alex, wine is about more than taste. It is about story, place, and the people behind it. Guided by experimentation, intentionality, and a passion for sharing wine with others, her approach celebrates imperfection and the thrill of new beginnings.

Her wines invite everyone to savor the process, embrace discovery, and enjoy wine in all its approachable, joyful glory. When she is not in the cellar, Alex can be found exploring the outdoors, cooking, skiing, or testing her skills at surfing, always chasing curiosity and inspiration that eventually finds its way into her bottles.
